Edward A. Krei

Edward A. Krei, Treasurer, Bank Consultant, FBBS

Edward A. Krei graduated with honors from the University of Mississippi where he is a member of the accounting school’s Hall of Fame. He was a gold medalist on the CPA examination in Tennessee. Today, he is a bank consultant offering services through FBBS, Inc., a St. Louis-based investment firm owned by banker’s banks. Mr. Krei previously worked for an international accounting firm and was the managing director of an institutional fixed-income broker/dealer before his retirement. Mr. Krei has served on the faculty of the graduate banking schools for Southern Methodist University, Colorado and Louisiana State University and as a speaker for many other banking programs and regulatory agencies, including the FDIC and the Federal Reserve.

Mr. Krei has received numerous teaching awards and has been inducted into the Independent Bankers Association of Texas Wall of Honor. He serves on the boards of four financial institutions. In addition, he has served on the boards of many charitable organizations and is a Trustee of the University of Mississippi Foundation.
