Scholarships

Students collaborate on a project at the University of Central Oklahoma campus.

WE’RE OPEN for the 2025-2026 Scholarship Season!

The Oklahoma City Community Foundation has connected donors with Oklahoma students to help them achieve their educational dreams. This important service has made OCCF one of the largest independent scholarship providers in the state.

The Oklahoma City Community Foundation distributes more than $4.5 million annually to students across our great state to support higher education and career training.

Our scholarships range from $2,000 to $20,000 and many awards are renewable each year. We have opportunities for high school seniors, college students, graduate students, career and technical students, adult learners returning to school, and students of all abilities.

To help you understand the timing of our processes, here is a brief overview of what to expect for this upcoming scholarship season:

How will I be notified?
Award decisions will be made on a rolling basis in spring 2025. If you receive a scholarship, you will be notified via mail or email.

Log back into your scholarship dashboard after June 1st to learn the status of your applications if you did not receive a notification.

If you are selected for a scholarship, you will need to complete a few follow-up items for the award to be paid directly to your college during the fall 2025-spring 2026 academic year.

Transforming Futures

As the state’s largest independent scholarship provider, OCCF saw students from all walks of life with varying career interests. Even with such an extensive program, our team knew there were students we were missing. In response, the Non-Traditional Student Scholarship was established, available to students with disabilities and adult learners who wish to further their education. This program supports those working to obtain a college degree or a certificate, such as a career tech program.
