In 1964, Judy and her husband, Tom, founded Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores when they leased an abandoned single gas station in Watonga, Oklahoma. Little did they know this would one day spark an empire that now includes more than 640 stores operating in 42 states.
Judy was a graduate of Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School and earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Central Oklahoma. Through the years, Judy took an active interest in the community, both volunteering and serving as a board member for many organizations including the Oklahoma City Museum of Art and the Civic Center Foundation.
