2025 Khader K. Hussein Palliative Care Award Recipients

The Hospice Foundation of Oklahoma at OCCF is excited to award four graduating nursing students and a graduating medical student the  Khader K. Hussein Awards in Palliative Care.

In 1999, the Hospice Foundation of Oklahoma established these $2,000 awards to honor Dr. Khader K. Hussein, a former board member and guiding influence for the organization. By partnering with OCCF to recognize and encourage students who demonstrate an interest in hospice and palliative care, these awards extend Dr. Hussein’s legacy of mentorship and leadership in the field.
