2012 Mobile Meals Grant Recipients
Just in time for the holidays, the Oklahoma City Community Foundation Trustees have awarded $25,200 in grants to 54 churches that provide meals to homebound eldery through Mobile Meals of Oklahoma County. Grant amounts range from $200 to $1,000 per site and is based upon the number of meals provided by each site. The grants will go toward food and transportation costs. This is the fifth consecutive year the Trustees have awarded grants to Mobile Meals of Oklahoma County participating churches. In addition, the Trustees awarded a $2,500 grant to Edmond Mobile Meals program that provides 1,000 meals per week.
