What is the 2011 Endowment Match Challenge?
Through the Challenge, we offered a dollar-for-dollar matching grant of up to $5,000 or $10,000 depending upon the participating endowment’s fund balance as of 12/31/2010. All contributions made to the endowment at the Oklahoma City Community Foundation between April 1, 2011 and December 31, 2011 were matched. We provided this opportunity to help these nonprofits increase their endowment fund balances which means increasing their annual distribution amounts. Contributions made by individuals, foundations and corporate donors qualified for the match. Complete details of the match will be available as soon as all results are calculated.
