Because we are an affiliated fund of the Oklahoma City Community Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity, gifts to the Lawton Community Foundation receive the maximum tax benefits allowed.

We are able to accept a wide variety of gifts including cash, appreciated stocks, mutual funds and other marketable securities, life insurance policies, retirement plan assets and business-related assets such as closely held stock from S corp., C corp. and LLCs.

Because we administer more than 1,000 funds coupled with our own administrative endowment, we are able to offer a wide range of services at a much lower cost when compared to operating a private foundation or similar entities.
