Since 1999, the Lawton Community Foundation has simplified charitable giving for generous donors throughout southwest Oklahoma who understand it is up to them to make a difference. By connecting these donors with hard-working charitable organizations dedicated to making life better for those in need, we’ve been able to make a greater impact for our community.
In total, the Lawton Community Foundation has reinvested more than $5.1 million in the community through scholarships, grants and endowment distributions to charitable organizations. This year, we awarded more than $80,000 in community and matching grants to 20 charitable organizations and more than $24,000 in scholarships to 13 Lawton-area high school graduates.
As you read our 2018 Annual Report, we hope you’ll witness the impact our donors and charitable organizations have made and celebrate how hard our community works to take care of each other.
Nonprofit organizations from Lawton and the surrounding area are invited to apply for two grant opportunities from the Lawton Community Foundation.
