Classes and Free Activities

YMCA of Greater Oklahoma City offers a variety of exercise options including group exercise classes at their 13 metro locations.

Metro Technology Centers‘ Springlake Campus offers free exercise classes for students, employees and residents living in 73111 zip code. See schedule here.

Myriad Botanical Gardens offers yoga and tai chi classes, dances complete with lessons and hosts full moon bike rides. Check out their event calendar here.

Clubs and Organizations

Girls On The Run is a nonprofit program for girls 3rd through 8th grade. Their mission is to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident, using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.

Landrunners: Oklahoma City Running Club is a volunteer, non-profit organization that supports health and fitness through recreational running. The club hosts monthly meetings, training runs and community programs throughout the year.

Oklahoma Bicycle Society is dedicated to the promotion of bicycling as a safe and enjoyable outdoor activity. The organization sponsors a year-round program of weekly rides ranging from slow-paced, family outings to others that will test the abilities of the most experienced riders.

Oklahoma Sports & Fitness publishes a comprehensive events calendar for the entire state through their website and magazine.

Red Coyote Running & Fitness is a retail business located in Classen Curve that offers a variety of training classes including the Newbie Running Program for novices. They also list local race and run events on their website.

runhers is a lifestyle organization for women of all ages that offers lifestyle programs, training, creative forums, entertainment and events.

Triathlon Club of Oklahoma City is a nonprofit organization that provides an outlet for Central Oklahoma area triathletes to grow their athletic abilities and develop friendships through tri-athletic endeavors.
